Feeling whimsical today

Why bat wings? No idea. It rhymes with cat wings though. Which makes at least a little sense. Firstly, I would like to point out the lack of ballroom dance classes in our humble little town. Get on it. I mean, really, who doesn't want to learn to dance like they are in The Sound of Music?! I realized that I have been focused too deeply on things that are real, and haven't been venturing into the world of literature enough recently. So I headed off to the public library and renewed my library card--expired for several years--and got some books. Two on Buddhism--I'm looking into converting--The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck and a book of French poetry. Whimsy, I know. I will review each of these; when the time comes. I downloaded The Very Best of Billie Holiday and Michael Buble's album Crazy Love, and am enjoying lounging around with my jazz, dreaming of warmer weather to come. And since I'm in such a relaxed and thinking mood I have a question or two for you. And it involves a bit of a back story.
As you all know, the breakup wasn't good; but life is fantastical now. It's all rosy pinks and creamy yellows and vibrant blues and greens {no, no reds and yellows together}. So how long is it before I can love again? Do you all believe in love at first sight? What about realizing love--or whatever it is you feel--after knowing someone for a long time? Just a thought crossing my mind.
