Oh yeah, you're so good you get the post titled by your name. So. Cool. Right?
So if the rest of you haven't heard, Jeremy Crowle is probably one of the raddest artists ever. And I'm not just saying this because I know him! I am absolutely in love with his paintings! As you can infer from my post Interpreting Realism, I am a realism fan, and Jeremy does an amazing job of making his art come alive! There are two things that I absolutely love about his work: 1. (Technical aspect, I know) The way his black and white paintings have a certain softness to them, and 2. how he manages to capture the personality of the subject, that takes a real talent (à la Richard Avedon). And just as an added bonus, he's actually a cool guy; which is nice since so many people get all snooty about art, but he's super chill! So support the arts, go check out his stuff!
