So. For my 100th post I am going to write out my top 100 favorite things (not in any order, so don't get mad at me!)
1. Smoked gouda - best cheese in the world
2. Tennille - one of my 3 true loves.
3. Grace -another of my 3 true loves.
4. Amanda - the third 3 true love.
5. Dave Matthews - favorite music
6. The word sumptuous - it sounds sumptuous
7. Singing! - my true passion
8. Drawing - possibly becoming another passion
9. Erik - my number 1! Someone who is possibly more sarcastic than myself is a welcome gift.
10. Gossip Girl - the books firstly, than the TV series; I love them all though. It's so far fetched and fantastic!
11. Blogging!!! - obviously the greatest thing; keeping a record of my life, my thoughts, my rants.
12. Twitter - Again, I like to feel like I'm keeping a record of my life.
13. Shiny things - enough said.
14. The number 333 - the only time [3:33] that has the same number of numbers that are showing [i.e. 2:22 doesn't have 2 twos, and 44:44 doesn't exist]
15. Calla lilies - it's ridiculously clichéd as a favorite flower, but I think they are just lovely.
16. Eric - has a smile that will make anyone's day.
17. Galiano Island - probably my favorite place in the world [that I've been to, obviously].
18. Baby pandas - you can't be mad and be looking at a baby panda.
19. Cats - they will eat you if you die, and no one is feeding them. Dogs won't. I like that.
20. Glee - it's about time they make a musical-show.
21. Photography - capturing moments.
22. Sunny days - need it be explained?
23. Rain storms - you can get all soaking, and go inside and be cozy.
24. Campfires - marshmallows, hotdogs and fun.
25. Sailing - you get to be on the water, and actually doing something, and best of all: eco-friendly!
26. The ocean - I love the smell of the ocean. Creosote and salt.
27. Scarf turbans - they just make me giggle.
28. Gradual tanner - no skin cancer, no orange, and a fabulous tan!
29. The interwebz - such a cool thing. Where else can you search what movies are playing, talk to your friend [2000 miles away], watch a movie, and tweet about what you are doing?
30. Haikus - simple, and to the point. It's how I like my poetry.
31. Sex and the City - Shoes, girlfriends, fun!
32. Yoga - relaxation, while toning. Perfect.
33. The holiday season - I love festive things!
34. Birthdays - the day that is all about you!
35. Richard Avedon - an amazing photographer.
36. GOSH Cosmetics - fair priced, good makeup.
37. Holt Renfrew - it actually glows...and is so full of pretty clothes...
38. Broadway shows - I have yet to see one on Broadway, but I love musicals!
39. Banana splits - the only way I will ingest a banana.
40. Chicken Fried Rice - ...need I say more?
41. Summer mornings to myself - I love the peace and quiet to make and eat breakfast, and do my own thing.
42. Pajamas - why would you wear something uncomfortable if no one can see you?!
43. High heels - it's amazing how good the right pair of shoes can make you look [and feel].
44. Books - libraries, bookstores, anything. I love books.
45. Getting over things -the best feeling is when you finally realize you are you again.
46. Harry Manx - I really enjoy his music. It's perfect yoga music.
47. Revelations - lightbulbs! Ideas from no where.
48. Tea - it's so nice! And doesn't taste yucky like coffee.
49. Tea time - something to look forward to in the day
50. Cookies - of any shape, size, or kind. I. Love. Cookies.
51. Love - it's nice to have hanging around. Even if it's for your dog
52. Kathy Griffin - proving that you don't have to be politically correct all the time
53. lolcats - cats...funny cats...obviously a favorite thing
54. Punctuation - so much is added to a statement by a simple mark. !?.
55. Braces free teeth - I miss them so much...
56. Your mom - no. Not your mom. The saying. Universally flattering, it is.
57. Happy people - who doesn't like happy people?!
58. Postcards - I would prefer a postcard than any other present from a foreign land
59. Marshmallows - if they get to count as a food, they are my favorite food
60. Donuts - my second favorite food [first, if marshmallows don't count]
61. Acceptance - anyone who can accept someone fully, even with all their faults, is a hero in my eyes
62. Music - I had singing earlier, but music as a whole is a wonderful, wonderful thing
63. Unlimited texting - you've got to love not having to count your texts [and being able to tweet from your phone!]
64. iPod touch/iPhone - I say slash iPhone, because I'm sure iPhones are even better than touches, but I don't have one so I can't really say; I love my touch though!
65. Snuggles - there is nothing like snuggling. End of story.
66. Kisses - fine. I admit, they might be as good as snuggling.
67. Dancing - ballroom, dance parties by yourself, school dances; dancing is fun
68. Ridiculous jokes - What do you call a fish with no eyes? Fsshhh; If a seagull flies over the sea...then what flies over the bay? Bagels.
69. www.theoatmeal.com - hilarious comics, stories, etc.
70. Bathrooms - this one is weird, I know. But think about it. No one can bother you in the bathroom. It's the perfect escape.
71. Fancy underwear - it doesn't matter if you are wearing a paper bag. If you are wearing fancy underwear, your day has that little bounce to it's step
72. Conversation - I love to talk to people. I will talk about basically anything...
73. Bare feet - it's so much more comfy than shoes, although I do love shoes too.
74. Baggy t-shirts - I can't wear tight shirts really anymore...I much prefer the baggy kind.
75. Foreign languages - I wish I could speak another language fluently
76. Purdy's Himalayan Pink Salt Caramels - the perfect mix of sweet and salty
77. Marchesa - Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are just superb
78. Harry Potter - the best book series ever
79. Tabbed browsing - makes my life so much easier
80. Maxi dresses - make dressing so much easier!
81. Parties - friends, food, fun!
82. People who are who they are, no matter what - it takes gusto to be yourself all the time
83. Bright shiny moods - obviously.
84. Things to look forward to - it makes getting through the not so great things so much easier
85. Firsts - the first of anything is exciting
86. Glasses - I personally love glasses. I think they make you look so much more sophisticated. Honest truth: I wish I had them
87. Halloween - dressing up is the best
88. Appy and Dessert night - me, my 3 best friends, high heels, fancy clothes, and every appetizer and dessert at Mr. Mikes.
89. RENT - such a good musical
90. Wikipedia - such a genius thing. I've learned more from it than from school.
91. The last year of math ever - sitting in the class knowing that I won't have to retain basically any of what I'm learning is fantastic
92. Summer evenings - warm breezes and all that jazz. I just love them!
93. Skiing really, really fast - it's the best rush
94. www.nymag.com - their fashion blog [The Cut] is a nice way to pass the time
95. Plans for the future - having plans for what you want to do with the rest of your life really gives you a reassuring feeling that you have something prepared
96. First days of school - I love the first two days of school. Everyone gets to see each other, and you get to make new routines and have new teachers. It's not boring yet.
97. Compliments - everyone's thinking it, I'm just saying it. Isn't it the best to receive compliments? And to give them! Spread the love.
98. Nail polish - I love nail polish...it makes me feel girlie
99. Learning new things about people - good or bad, it feels good to get to know someone a bit better
100. The prospect of 100 more posts! And many more after that!
I feel accomplished!
