Stop Water Testing

Sunday, May 16, 2010

So let's say you're going swimming. You walk in to your ankles to test the water; then to your knees, just to make sure; then to your waist; then you're up to your neck; but you're still not swimming. So when do you just take the plunge and start kicking? I'd say it's right about now. Do that thing you've wanted to do; take a risk. Sure, maybe it won't end up how you wanted, but maybe it will end up better. I'm pretty sure if you want it that badly, it will end up exactly how you want it.

And just a side thought: Why do things that are in the past always continue biting you in the butt? Seriously. I got rid of certain things in my life that were dragging me down, and now they are dragging down the new, awesome, amazing, fantastic, wonderful, glorious, superb, [handsome], fun things in my life. This goes to show you can delete someone off your Facebook, phone, and msn, but they will still come back to haunt you.
