I think all the single people out there could do with a little pick-me-up tonight! Just a little something to rub in your coupled off friends faces when they start doing that snugly thing that makes you want to expose everything you ate for the past three days. A list of all the reasons why being single trumps being paired off:
1. Options-you can have a whole array of crushes for your many different moods. You don't act on these, of course, as that wouldn't be very lady-like at all.
2. Girls night-is so much more fun when you can look at all the cute boys in the restaurant without feeling the least bit guilty.
3. Lack of drama-all relationships do is stir up a ruckus.
4. Money saving-in these hard economic times, especially, not having to spend the big bucks on dates, monthiversary presents, couples yoga classes, is quite a positive thing!
5. Balance-the only balance you need is girl time vs. me time, and if it's not totally balanced
6. Friend clashes-you don't have to pretend to enjoy spending time with a group of the slovenly boys he calls friends
7. Forest legs-you only have to do things like shave your legs if you feel the need. Need not feel obliged.
8. Family-no awkward family dinners with his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, dogs, dog's cousins, etc.
9. Movies-you can go see whatever the heck movie you want to see!
10. 10 doesn't exist because 9 things are better. Everyone does top 10's. I'm sticking it to the man.
