Every special day

Today has been a special day. My dear friend L and I decided to be do'ers, and get some stuff done! I, of course, apologized to X, and she did her thing. But who knew that this butt-kicking awesomeness would continue?! I, inspired by my earlier success, righted things [at least started to right things] with someone who is very special to me; and I have a thought for you. You all know the feeling--when you accomplish something and it makes you feel on top of the world! All sunny and yellow and bright and shiny. But we all know the feeling too, when it dwindles. So, I am wondering: can't we just live life each day this way? Or as many as we can? There are always going to be things out of our control that bring us down, but it's in our control to bring it back up again. So I have a challenge for you all:

The next time you have one of those days, the days that make you feel like gold, remember what you did to make you feel that way. Now the next day when you wake up, take that thing that you did to make yourself happy--like taking a risk, doing something you were afraid of and succeeding--and do it again! Fuel the happy fire, my friends!
