Hello world. Today I would like to wonder why parents are so ridiculously irrational! This morning I woke, for the second time this week, needing to put on heavier pajamas [I sleep in flannel] and socks. It's almost July, is it not? Yes, I could blame this on the milder weather we've been having, but the house is even warm in the dead of winter. No. The reason I have frozen little feetsies is my parents turn off the furnace after a certain date in the summer. Supposedly we don't need heat if the calendar says it's a certain month, yet it's still minus forty thousand--as we live in the frozen wilds of northern BC. So if you're planning on coming to visit, count on wearing woolies while you're here. I'm expecting snow showers later today. Indoors. Arctic fox is not amused.
