Quotes are cool...I suppose. I was quoted to by a friend last night, and it got me thinking. Quotes are all well and good, but I believe that people use them in place of their own thoughts. My friend said that they are a good way to express yourself when you don't know which words to use. But I think using someone else's words to tell the world how you are feeling is a little bit like cheating. If everyone is different, and everyone feels things differently, no one's words can describe how you specifically are feeling. Oh! Then there are the people who quote in Facebook and tweets, and use the words as their own. I think that people need to stop using other people's words and come up with something profound themselves. It's high time people get up and start making history, instead of repeating it.
