I was just thinking to myself: why do so many people settle for mediocrity? I feel like a lot of people do settle short of what they'd dreamed to do. I don't want to judge anyone, or bring down anyone, but if you aren't where you dream to be ask yourself, why not? If you dream to be a doctor all your life, then realize the amount of work it is, or think you aren't good enough at math, or biology, and settle with being something close, but not close enough to satisfy your dream, what is the point of having a dream in the first place? Set goals to reach them, not to fall just short of! My dad pointed out to me: not everyone can be a rocket scientist, and I counter with this: everyone can try.
I feel fed up with mediocrity.
