Day 1...

... morphing into day 2 as the sun rises over the ocean. GOSH! What a day! So the first day of our vacation was basically just 20 hours of driving. Actually, those of you who are good at math can figure it out for those of us who are number challenged: we left at 8:30 am and arrived at 4:30 am the next day. You know... I think that is 20 hours! Yay! Anyway. I slept from Hope to Vancouver pretty much, which is sufficient. 3 hours or so. We are waiting for it to be later so we can catch the ferry to the island. Woooeeeyy! Lots of truck time. I am going to leave it at that for today; the adventures have yet to begin, and I think I will watch the pretty sun and the ocean. Will blog tomorrow if the Internet suffices! Maybe a list before I go...
