Does anyone else feel like they accomplish so much more when it's sunny? Even if all you do is sit out in the sun and read your book, you feel more accomplished than you would if you were sitting inside reading. I have been working muchly on paintings; one in specific is for my darling mother's birthday, but I can't tell you what it is, because I know she reads this, and that would just ruin the surprise! My room is resembling an art studio more and more every day. Canvases stacked up in one corner with Billy Joe, paint strewn all over the floor [don't worry, Mum, the drop cloth is down], and then sewing stuff covering my desk. My dad calls it the 'activity room' these days. I like it, it's homey. I need to start packing for my trip soon! Off to the island for the rest of the summer. I will make a separate post before I go to explain more about it, and how the daily posts will be going while I'm away! So there's just a little ramble about what's new in my life today. I hope it's sunny and warm where ever you are!
