Oh you thought it would be exciting, didn't you? Well, I suppose it is moderately interesting. Today is a sort of... date to remember. Not even that, it was just what would have been my two year anniversary with X. It just got me thinking [again] about how crazy it is that you can be so close with someone and then one thing happens and you suddenly can't even look at each other without being super awkward. So I want to make a proclamation:
For those of you who treat someone any differently than you would someone you don't know: treat them like anyone else. You don't have to be friends; braid each other's hair; or have giggle fests over hot chocolate at midnight. Just treat them like you would a stranger that you needed to make a good impression on.
