Hi everyone! You may have noticed I've been posting more original photos [not taken from photo sharing websites like vi.sualize ] for my posts, and for little galleries. I mostly just want to share my photos, and eventually I'm hoping to use entirely my own stuff for posts... well... I'll keep up with Zooborns because everyone loves cute baby animals! Anyway, I have a question for you guys:
What do you think about editing photos?
My dad made an excellent point about this [hope you don't mind if I use this, dad!]. Us editing photos is like a film photographer using filters or different developing techniques in the darkroom [and those of us who have done darkroom work know that that is totally just part of the artistic process]; it's the same with digital, it just so happens that everything is a lot easier, and less time consuming. It still takes the same artistic eye to get the results. All of my photos in the previous post have had exposure and colour tweaked a little bit, so I don't want any editing hater comments! It's all part of the artistic process; but I know none of you would post hater comments! I hope you enjoy the photos [past and future!]
[The photo in this post was actually hardly edited at all, just a bit more colour saturation. Yay over exposing things!]
