For years I have thought a cheesesteak was a chunk of beef, smothered in cheese. Well, it was quite disconcerting when the waitress at a restaurant I went to recently looked at me as if I had asked her to serve me the cow live and mooing at the table when I asked her for it well done. Very well done. Well, my friends, it turns out a cheesesteak is, in fact, a sandwich. One of the most amazing sandwiches I have ever experienced; and I'm quite the connoisseur. So I'd just like to say props to whoever thought to combine steak, cheese, mushrooms and onions in a sandwich. You're my hero.
