Prom-perations

I'm just all about gradiculous word combinations these days, eh? Anyway. As you all know it's my grade 12 year [senior to any of you who are American...] and that means one thing: PROM! Actually, it means much more than that, but prom is part of it. If you know me personally, you know I like to be ahead of the game; and no surprise, I've already got my prom dress! Well, chosen it and getting ready to order it. Anyway, I'm just wondering why prom is such a big deal? I mean... it's a very exciting thing, but people get so into it! I love it, but I'm not getting my standards set too high, because I don't want to be disappointed. I'm also not expecting to be like... Eva Green that day. I will accept the fact if my makeup or hair isn't perfect. Anyway, if anyone knows why prom is such a huge deal, feel free to comment below! In the mean time, look at my dress! Isn't it beautiful?!
