Or risks. Now. I don't believe in the whole "you have to jump off a cliff with bungee cords wrapped around your ankles to be a risk taker" thing. But I do think it is important to take risks. I know this is going to sound so nerdy, but I take risks in my writing. I know I can write with good grammar and form, so I experiment with style and other fancy things. Sure I get things wrong once and a while, but I'd like to think teachers like to mark my work more than others [because I don't write essays with the same sentence structure for five paragraphs.]
So my challenge to you today is to take a risk. It obviously doesn't have to be running with the bulls, or even as complex as asking someone to prom [although if you're asking a girl, she might appreciate it so she can stop flipping out...]. Just do something simple. It's sort of like what Eleanor Roosevelt said:
"Do one thing every day that scares you"
Like petting a panther.
