Hello today! I had a thought today. Just recently. Just a minute ago, in fact. And it is this:
Heartbreak really THAT bad, because if you can have your heart broken, it means that you had something to lose, and therefore must have had a pretty good time for you to have something to lose.
I suppose this might be a little overly optimistic, but it's sort of along the lines better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. And I'll stand by that.
Also, heartbreak is sort of fun because it opens a new door. I mean, if I hadn't gotten my heart broken last year by X [almost forgot about him, didn't we?], then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to forge so many new relationships, particularly the one with my new boyfriend. [OH WAIT, DID I JUST SAY NEW BOYFRIEND? Yeah. I did. He he he. I told you that you'd be among the first to know. Although it is a few days delayed...] ANYWAY, heartbreak--of the romantic variety--happens because there is something better out there. So if you're a little broken, just think about all the good things that can fill up that empty crack... or crevasse... whichever it may be. And the bigger the hole, the more excellent new things it can hold!
