It Gets Better

Hi everyone! I know this is usually a pretty relaxed kind of blog, but I want everyone to pay serious attention to this.

I found this website through Sarah at yesandyes.org. I think it is so important for people [especially teenagers] to realize that everyone is human, and everyone deserves to be treated respectfully, despite their sexuality. It Gets Better is a project where people add videos to inspire youth into the belief that It Gets Better.

Here's my own little message to the world:

Everyone is entitled to love who they love, whether that person is the same gender as you, or not. People who bully are often insecure themselves [I know that's such an annoying grown up statement] but that doesn't give them an excuse to tell people who they can and can't love. To be gay is not an offense. It is a beautiful thing, as any love is. It is human. Everyone should have respect for humanity regardless of it's gender preference.

So I want everyone to click the link, and take the pledge!
