Hey everyone! So today I am going to carry on a little bit more relating to that stupid face essay. It said something along the lines of "the media manipulates us", but you know what's funny? SCHOOL manipulates us. So many things in our lives manipulate us. I'm sort of sick of teachers thinking that it's okay to force their opinions on their students. Kids' minds are such moldable things, especially at my age, when we're trying to figure out who we are, and what we believe in. I think it's almost abusing a position of power to try to take advantage of that to try to shape their minds for them. I fear for the kids who don't have half the mind to actually come up with opinions for themselves. What if they have a teacher that teaches them that the sky is yellow and goat is the word for the colour blue?!
