I actually feel as though the last two days of life have been entirely spent in the car, on the freeway. I hate the freeway. There are too many cars, it's stinky, and hot, and busy, and I wasn't even driving! This weekend was my grandma's birthday, so my mum and I took ourselves on the ferry, on the freeway, and out to visit her for the weekend. Did I mention I hate the freeway? It was a lovely visit - saw family, chatted bits and pieces, the usual. My grandmother doesn't have internet, so I spent a decent amount of time trying to hack onto other people's wireless - it's something of a hobby of mine. Anyway, that's all the excitement I've had in the last twenty-four hours - excluding, of course, my encounter with a spider the size of my fist, but we're keeping that in the "repressed memory" category of life - so here are some pictures from the exciting journey.
