This goes a bit better with my comfy taste. I actually tried on these shorts when I bought them [in the middle of Costco - I was wearing shorts, don't worry], and they actually fit! It turns out, if you buy pants that fit, you don't get a mushroom top. Fancy that.

Chiffon Breeze

Hey y'all! So I have decided to branch out and try to do a "style" component on my bloggity blog! I'm pretty excited about it - and maybe it will inspire me to wear some of my other clothes [not just my jeans and t-shirts]. I personally hate it when people make style blogs with unattainably expensive, and high class items, so I am only using items that I have bought for fairly reasonable prices! Cheap isn't necessarily not chic!

I am particularly proud of this dress because I picked it up for $2 at a clothing swap we had in my house this past year! Score!

Day way too long for me to remember

Jeez! I'm so sorry that I'm failing miserably to post while i'm on vacation! I have to admit... it hasn't been the foremost thing on my mind. So what has been happening... a whole lot of nothing. A lot of time spent with family and friends that we don't see a lot (as they live down here, and we don't). Tomorrow we are off for a day trip to Victoria, and I am quite excited to be seeing civilization for the first time in two weeks! It is quite disappointing when you logon to Facebook after two weeks and have only one notification. But it does show a few good things... anyway, there really isn't much to report from the island. I have a mean sunburn on the front half of my body from reading in the sun, and am going to invest in a big sunhat tomorrow in the city! I must be off though--our ferry leaves at 6:20 am tomorrow, and I need to put things in my backpack for our lovely adventure! I hope all y'all are having a fantastic summer!!!
