Campfires, clichés, and awkward moments

Ok, so maybe I'm jumping the gun a little, but it's just so summery and fantastic this weekend! The usage of self tanner and spending the weekend at the lake has just made me in such a summery mood!

I spent last night out at my dear Pan's cabin with a bunch of our friends. It was just lovely! We sat around the campfire, and had lots of fun. I also got to talk with a good friend of mine who I don't talk to nearly enough! It's really nice to get to catch up on things.

However, not everything is sunshine on beaches. Is it not just the worst when you are out with friends, having a good time, forgetting about worrisome things, and the worrisome things show up?! I just hate that. It can take all the fun out of an entire evening. And there is nothing you can do about it, except walk away. Which is sometimes your best option. How do you guys deal with things like that? Actually, how do you deal with awkward moments in general?

I might take my number 1's advice and just say 'punch it'.

I feel a little infuriated, but a little nostalgic at the same time.
