Yawn...

I am so bored with all this predictable 'atypical' jazz. Yes. Yes, at one point, painting dark, moody things was unpredictable and avant garde, but everyone does it now...it's like, ok, I want to be creative, therefore I will draw something dark and swirly, do an artsy fartsy ink drawing on it, and then name it something deep like "tHE aBysS tHat wAS My heArT beFOre yOu sToLe iT." That has become so common it makes me sick. For once, I want to look at happy art. Art that expresses emotion other than: Drug addled; Love sick; or Angst ridden misery black hole for a soul. Paint unicorns and smiles for once. That would catch someone's attention. Yes, art should have a statement, but can't it be something that isn't making a political statement, or a statement about how the world sucks, or how you lost the love of your life and now cry inky black tears? Unicorns. Rainbows. And smiles.

Also, since I have to relate everything to shoes, and/or fashion, I am getting very bored of the 'cutesy girl dress with BA rocker shoes'. Why can't we do a cute pink dress with shiny silver princess shoes?!  Since everything is so clichéd these days, I'm pretty sure fitting the mold is breaking it.
