Ohey guys! Before you read this, please read my previous Disclaimer post. Actually, you don't have to... just don't get all up in my grillz about this post.
So my question today is: why are people so convinced music shows so much about a person?
It's just music... I personally hope my music choices don't tell all about who I am on a deeper level, because I'm a big Ke$ha fan... and I don't wake up feeling like P. Diddy, nor do I brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack, and most of the time when I go out, I'm probably coming back! I mean... sure it's a good conversation starter: "Oh boy gee golly! Have you heard the new Coldplay?" "Nah man. But did you hear the new Jazz Fantango? [Yes that band is made up...]" but when your relationship is on the rocks partially because you want to punch your significant other's hipster electro rap in the treble infused face? That's a whole different can of worms. Just a thought.
And as a side-thought, to those of you who vomit lyrics as Facebook statuses... well I'll leave it at that.
