Who now?

Have any of you ever wanted to just become a different person? Even for an hour wouldn't it be fantastic to just leave all your problems behind and become a new character? Well from three thirty until five thirty I become Brunhilde Esterhazy, the taxi-driving, man-loving, New Yorker in Leonard Bernstein's On the Town. I have to say it's the best escape from reality one could ask for. For two hours all my problems [boy problems, family problems, school-work problems] become irrelevant because Hildy doesn't have any of those  problems [well none I'm going to tell you about--you'll have to go see the musical if you want to know!] So for any of you with some serious letting go to do: forget meditation, join a musical! It's all you can do to concentrate solely  on your lines, songs, and coreography; obviously there is no time to worry about other problems!
