Hi everyone! So as you all know, I recently cut my hair quite short. [The reason why shoe lady thought I was a boy], and I absolutely love it! However, I have realized that, even though so many older women have short hair, and lots of younger girls do too, it's still pretty different to be walking around with inch long hair when you're a girl. Therefore I've decided [sorry parents!] to shave my head. I'm doing it after musical because of the whole "girls in the 40's didn't have shaved heads" deal, so probably around December-ish. I figure if it looks fantastic [which I'm pretty sure it will, not gonna lie, I have a nice shaped head] then I'll keep it for prom, but if I hate it [which I doubt I will] I will have enough time to grow it back into my pixie by then.

Two of my grandparents suffered from cancer, so I've decided to [hopefully] do it as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. A huge reason why I want to do it, though, is because I want to make a point that it really is just hair; so many women look amazing with buzzed hair [Natalie Portman, Mena Suvari, Agyness Deyn, etc.], and why should boys be the only ones to have the luxury of not having to do their hair in the morning?
