HELLO TODAY!
So this day of today I had the best day that I have had in a very, VERY long time! What made my day so great?
1. I got my diploma. I am officially [technically] graduated. I still have to attend classes until June, but those are just courses I was taking for extra credits. Suddenly going to school seems less annoying...
2. I slept in until 7:30, then had an hour of class, then got to go home for my off-campus block/lunch... then I went to an eye exam, then went to my last half of my last block.
3. I got to use the power nail-gun tool thing in Art today! Well, it was in the wood shop, but it was for Art. It's so satisfying!
4. My eyes are lopsided. And while some of you might think this a curse, I think glasses are sexy. The drops they put in my eyes were not a highlight of my day, and I'm still sort of blurry whilst writing this... it's okay Mum and Dad, I am fine to drive. Anything past like, 2-3 feet away I can see, no problem!
5. I had a beautiful, romantic date with my darling Amanda. Well, maybe not so romantic... but it was wonderful. We went out for Indian food, and ate piles of deep fried vegetables and naan. Nom. Nom. Nom. Leftovers for lunch tomorrow? Check.
6. I got new eyelashes [of the false variety] for prom, because my old ones were all scraggly and sad looking. These ones are beautiful. I'm going to give them a test run in a couple of minutes. I also did my nails [yes I use those epically tacky stick-on nails. They look just as good as gels, and they don't ruin your nails. Or cost you a kidney.]
7. My prom date came over to show me his suit. Oh. My. God. He's a stud, I have to say. Like, a bow tie has never looked this good [well... it's a toss up between le date and le kitty cat...]. We are going to be so attractive in all our pictures. So proud.
8. My darling friend Nicholas got into university [he's going into jazz, so he had to audition and stuff, and he found out today and I am SO PROUD OF HIM!].
Anyway, those are the top 8 reasons why my day was most likely better than your day! If you can trump my day, I would gladly read about it in the comments! Yes, that is a challenge!
